The Community Chorus of the Liberty County Area Choir invites singers to present a free Easter Messiah Concert in April at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church located at 302 E. General Stewart Way, Hinesville, Georgia. Solo’s are available for Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. Rehearsal’s are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church at 203 North Main Street in Hinesville. The conductor is Ronald G. Calhoun with associate conductor’s Davida Phillips and Donna Pearson. “Although folks generally think of this as a Christmas work,” Ronald Calhoun, Director says, “Handel’s intentions was that it be an Easter presentation.
